L. Dalton Potter
During the past 30 years, Mr. Potter has built a reputation for expertise in tonal and playing adjustments to some of the most historically important string instruments in the world.
His long experience in fine restorations contributes significantly to the instruments he creates from scratch, as well as the high-quality workshop instruments produced in his shop.
Violins & Violas (Now accepting orders)
Jeremy Yoder is a graduate of the North Bennet Street School, where he studied violin making and repair with David Polstein and Thomas Hummel. After graduating in 2004, he joined the Potter Violin Company, focusing on violin and viola repair and set-up.
Jeremy also makes new instruments, drawing inspiration from classical Italian instruments of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Joseph Yoo is a graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making, where he studied under Fred Thompson and Becky Elliot while also working at Michael Becker Fine Violins.
After graduation, he started his own workshop in Los Angeles, CA. He joined The Potter Violin Co. in the Fall of 2010, with a focus on violin and viola repair and set-up. Joseph is a member of the Violin Society of America.

David Truscott has been interested in violins since a very young age, performing on violin and viola all over the world. He discovered a passion for violin making and restoration visiting the various violin shops and talking with luthiers.
He was trained at the prestigious North Bennet Street School of Violin Making and Repair in Boston, where he studied with Roman Barnas. David went to work at Howard Needham’s shop in Annapolis, Maryland, where he gained a practiced hand for tone adjustment, repair and instrument making.
